Cukup lama sebenernya gak update soal band favorit saya ini, gara-gara thread tempat ngobrol soal Blink 182 di kaskus sempet ilang di subscribe list. Ya meski follow baik itu Official Page atau pun di twitter tetap saja info-info baru lebih enak dipantau lewat thread :D

Kira-kira sekitar satu hari yang lalu saya tahu kalau Blink 182 akan merilis mini album dalam waktu dekat ini. EP (Extended Play) atau mini album yang bertajuk Dogs Eating Dogs akan dirilis tanggal 18 Desember 2012 mendatang.
Official page Blink 182 di facebook memposting teaser mini album baru tersebut. Dan ternyata video teaser berdurasi kurang dari 2 menit ini cukup membuat saya tercengang. Di situ terlihat cuplikan mereka berada di studio menyelesaikan EP diwarnai backsound lagu-lagu yang ada di EP terbaru ini. Kok saya bisa tau? iyalah, soalnya lagunya asing semua di telinga. Kamu pernah nonton acara mata pancing di MNC tv? selain adegan pancing-memancing nya, acara ini punya daya tarik yang berbeda, yaitu pada backsoundnya. Mereka pake backsound musik ska yang pas banget sama suasana pantai, laut..pokoknya perfectly match. Setiap nonton jadinya FUN banget :D
Saya pernah coba cari-cari informasi tentang backsound yang mereka pakai *lumayan buat nambah happy song di playlist buat mood booster, tapi hasilnya nihil. Both songs looks similar right? I was wondering who was copied the lyric, Avicii or Flo Rida?
Then I did a little investigation, looking for information regarding to these songs. No one was copied. The lyric is a vocal sample of "Something's Got a Hold on Me" (1962) by Etta James.
Levels sampled to Something's Got a Hold on Me and then Flo Rida taken it to his song's called Good Feeling.

Do you know what is electronic dance music? In my opinion this music is like a magic that can move your body happily. Very nice and enjoyable music.
EDM divided into a lot of genre. Here the list.. However for several genre like house and trance, the music sounds similar. You maybe difficult to distinguish them.

Several days ago I was accidentally search green day song in Youtube because I'm bored with my present playlist. Then I found new song titled, Cigarettes and valentines. I clicked and watched it. Do you know? When I heard the song suddenly I remember about Green days previous album American Idiot. Music arrangement, lyrics theme looks similar with American idiot for me.
After that a question came to my mind. Is it really a brand new song? If it yes I really happy because I like American Idiot more than their latest album 21st Century Breakdown.
Then I started a little investigation about the story behind that song. From wikipedia I knew that Cigarettes and valentines was already exist in 2003, a year before American Idiot released, from the album with same title. Eventually the master recording were stolen from the studio by an unknown individual. Instead of re-recording the stolen tracks, they decided to abandon the entire project and start over and resulted American Idiot.
That's why Cigarettes and valentines really close to American idiot in terms of musics material.
