CB150 R Streetfire itu ...

Akhirnya si misterius Honda teralis muncul di ajang JMCS 2012, CB150 r siap menjegal v-ixion dalam duel kelas motor sport 150cc. Satu kata buat CB150 R ..Ganteng! :)

Menurut saya pribadi Cb150 r punya beberapa kelebihan dalam segi penampilan dibanding kompetitornya. Pertama headlamp, kesan pertama penampilan pada sepeda motor terletak pada headlampnya. CB150 r punya kesan pada headlamp, garis desainnya tajam. Lanjut ke bagian mesin, dibekali mesin cbr 150 plus rangka teralis, mesin cb150 r terlihat lebih padat bro. Kehadiran accessories tambahan  seperti shroud dan under crowl menambah kesan sporty. Meski kurang dibagian roda (yang masih dibekali velg/ban kecil) serta tutup tangki yang melendung, terus apalagi yaa? hehe keseluruhan tampilan cb150 r tetap lebih unggul *menurut saya :p

under crowl cb150 r

Sekilas memang cb 150 r ini mirip dengan v-ixion lawas, tapi kenyataannya cb 150 r lebih ganteng yaa *menurut saya :p dibanding new v-ixion :)) kalau menurut bro sendiri gimana? :D

Last Wednesday, 18 of July 12, I’ve got a chance to test all new Vario pgm-fi. After classes I remembered about to test drive new variant of scooter matic from Honda. I asked my friend, Toni, if I could lend his bike for a drive test. He said ‘yes’. Okay, time for a ride!

I start switched on the engine*vroom. Nice, the electric starter has no sound. I tested this bike around my campus. First impression when I twisted the gas was smooth response by the bike. The grip itself not so soft like moped type. It’s little bit hard but easy to control. Maybe it designed to serve highly sensitive of acceleration in this scooter matic. I personally like this adjustment which is close to other gas grip in sport bike rather than moped.

From parking lot in the side of my Faculty I rolled passes Student Center then to another parking lot above then passes Labs. Turning around in science and tech faculty, passes the Library and another Faculty before I back to my Faculty where my friends is waiting.

me after test the bike
I tested the handling by keeping off speed bumps turning the handlebar right and left. I felt the handle bar is shorter than other motorcycle because the handling was closes to perfection. It’s so easily to control the bike. I thought it will really helpful in congestion city like Jakarta. Once again I twisted the gas in straight. Yes, it was good response in acceleration. That’s maybe from the pgm-fi technology. The ergonomic of riding position was quiet comfortable. The seat is wide enough and the unslippery footrest was really help.

That’s all my first impression of all new Vario Techno 125 pgm-fi. Thanks to my friend Tony for lend the bikes.

*this article based on what I feel

I used my friends' bike by the way... when he came with Kawasaki Athlete, "aha, this is the right time to test that bike" said to myself. I immediately asked for a test.

Design
I just want to say "Futuristic"

Athlete headlamp

Riding position
It's quite good I think. The handlebar designed bit more high, you can compare with other same type like, Suzuki Satria Fu. This one (Athlete) is better for me. For footsteps the position is also good. As a whole the riding position as usual as a road bike, comfortable.

Acceleration
Here is the exciting part. This bike is light.. that's what I felt as started twist the grip. I can easily sped away. This is remembered me for Yamaha Vega ZR, that was light too. But I think Athlete is more light. Eventually I can't tested it further because we take placed in a college. Oh yeah, don't ever compare the acceleration with Suzuki Satria Fu as their specification is so different. Satria is absolutely lead for acceleration.

Dashboard

Handling
I felt the handling also light as well as the bike weight. Moreover I felt this is too light because I usually ride a heavy bike (weight) like, minerva r150vx or Yamaha Scorpio. But while I can adapt the handling I thought this bike is easy to control.

Coclusion

Kawasaki athlete provide a semi-sport bike with quite good acceleration without leaving a comfort side. Nice..
